Virginia Vera Mulvey nee Golokowski, age 89, beloved wife of the late Robert Mulvey. Dear mother of Barbara McQuillan, Daniel (Mary) Mulvey, Ann (Steve) Roberson and the late Robert (Joanne) Mulvey. Cherished grandmother of 14, greatgrandmother of 1. Fond sister of Marie Tierney.

Virginia was born in Chicago on March 26, 1926. She was a dedicated mother and her family was the most important thing in her life. She liked nothing more than hearing about what her grandchildren were doing and was always looking for opportunities to share their accomplishments with others.

Virginia was a proud Grandma and Mom. When her son Dan wanted to start a business Mom donated garage space for storage and the kitchen table as the office where she kept the books and helped keep the business going in the early years. When her son Bob joined the business she thoroughly enjoyed working with her sons as the business grew.

In her free time Virginia loved to paint with oils and water colors and almost everyone in the family has at least one of her paintings… She was also an avid golfer. Mom appreciated the beauty of a golf course and she loved to “go out and hit the ball”. She golfed on a league well into her 80’s. She was involved in two bridge clubs and was an avid Scrabble player.

Finally Mom loved spending time at her home in South Haven, MI where she would enjoy time with her family on the beach and golfing. Our family South Haven memories will live on forever…
